Pain
The world will grow the day it learns pain.
Founded on a promise of peace in the shadow of the rain village; twisted into a plan to bring the world to its knees. This exhibit is the archive of that transformation.
The Akatsuki was born on the land war burned hardest. Three orphans of Amegakure — Yahiko, Nagato, Konan — grew up in Jiraiya's shadow and built the organisation on a single promise: a world without war.
Yahiko's death bent that promise. The search for peace became forcing peace by teaching pain; hope became a plan to collect the nine Tailed Beasts. The red-cloud cloak became the mark of blood spilled in the rain.
Pain stands at the centre; around him, everyone who served him — and everyone who used him. The exhibit unfolds downward in that order.
Six corpses, one will. Nagato's Rinnegan grants each body a path, each path a power.
Nine names under the red cloud — each one a village's loss.
The organisation works in pairs — not out of trust, but oversight.
From a promise of peace to a world war — four eras, one end.
In the middle of a war, Amegakure's three orphans — Yahiko, Nagato, Konan — build the organisation on what Jiraiya taught them. The goal is a single sentence: peace without bloodshed.
Five names in Pain's orbit.
If Pain is a mask, Nagato is the face: his crippled body bound to the Gedō Mazō, his will walking in six corpses.
The only one who never questioned Nagato's decisions — until Nagato chose Naruto. That day Konan chose her own path too.
The Tobi mask hides the hand that 'showed' Nagato his path. Pain's godhood is one act in Obito's script.
A dead legend, a living plan: the Akatsuki's skeleton is Madara's testament; Obito merely executes it.
Three marks of the organisation — each the record of a loss.
The clouds that carried war over Amegakure, and the blood spilled in that rain: the clouds on the cloak are the founders' mourning.
Ten rings, ten seats. A ring does not die with its member — it is reclaimed; an empty finger is the name of a chair in the organisation.
When the Akatsuki ended, no fortress and no army remained; what remained was its question: can peace be built by force? Naruto's answer was born from Nagato's question.
This exhibit is the record of the organisation that asked it. The red clouds settled with the rain — but they left a mark.
A purpose in the darkness, an order in the chaos.
This exhibit is not a terminus — it is a node in the archive. Threads run from here into other rooms.
“True peace is only possible when people come to understand pain.”
Yahiko's charisma makes the organisation grow; the Akatsuki is a peace movement. A trap laid by Hanzō and Danzō ends the era: Yahiko dies by Nagato's hand.
Nagato turns Yahiko's body into the Deva Path and takes the name Pain. The red-cloud cloaks go on, the organisation splits into pairs; the target is now the nine Tailed Beasts.
Hunting the Bijū turns every village hostile: Gaara is taken, Konoha is razed. Behind the curtain Tobi — Obito — ties the strings to Madara's design: the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Nagato listens to Naruto and, with his last strength, restores those he killed. Konan lays down the cloak; the war consumes Obito and Madara alike. One question remains: can pain teach peace?
The organisation's soul. The Deva Path is his body — every time Pain appears, a dead hope stands upright.
Black ground, red clouds, high collar: not who you are, but what you carry. Whoever puts on the cloak leaves their name at the door.
