People were afraid of the earth. The fear collected somewhere, and the collection opened an eye.
This page is a cross-section read from the top down. The first stratum is the surface: cooled, legible, calm. The deeper you go the darker and hotter the strata get, and magma shows through the cracks between them. At the very bottom there is a coffin, and it has a name.

Fire and magma
Jōgo's technique produces fire and molten rock directly. There is no tool and no medium: the heat comes out of his own body, which makes his frame less a weapon than a flue. He does what a volcano does — he accumulates pressure and releases it somewhere.

Coffin of the Iron Mountain
Domain Expansion is jujutsu's most expensive move: the caster turns his inner world outward, and inside it his technique becomes unavoidable. The world Jōgo opens is the inside of a volcano — a closing coffin, with its name already written on the lid.

The falling stone
The heaviest thing he owns. Not a flame and not a flow but a mass coming down out of the sky: Jōgo brought it down in Shibuya, onto the wall in front of him — onto Gojō. This is the blow that opens the deepest stratum of this page.

Fear accumulates
Jōgo takes shape out of humanity's fear of the earth, of volcanoes, of fire-borne disasters. He arrives with cursed energy excessive even for a special grade, and he is intelligent from the first day: he knows what he is and what he wants.

A front is formed
He aligns with Mahito, Hanami and Dagon; the group gathers around Getō. Jōgo's role at that table is impatience: he is not the one waiting for the plan, he is the one pulling it forward.
Stratum 3 · deep crust
He goes to the master
He wants the king of curses on the front. To reach Sukuna he first finds his vessel — Yūji Itadori. When they meet, Sukuna does not treat him as a partner: he crushes him and sends him off.

Stratum 4 · mantle
He hits the wall
He steps in front of Satoru Gojō and uses the heaviest thing he owns: he opens his domain, then brings a mass down from the sky. Neither is enough. Jōgo's arithmetic breaks here — the ranking of power is not what he thought it was.

In Shibuya everything fits into one evening. What ends Jōgo is neither the humans nor Gojō but the master he admired. The question he asks at the end is not a question about power but about friendship — and this page's section ends there.
The two original strings in this chart are documented: 呪いの王 is Sukuna's title, 領域展開 the invocation spoken as a domain opens. Jōgo's spoken lines are not written in Japanese — their exact wording could not be verified, so the scenes are told in narrative voice.
